Mixer
The mixer is our first annual event of the year. The mixer is where all cadets come together as a family, play games, have fun, and meet new people. Here each flight is assigned their color and is tasked to make a chant to perform representing their flight. This is a chance to relax and eat pizza together, here you can socialize with your flight and other flights. In the end, we can dance it off ending the night with great laughter and fun.

Drill Meets
Drill meets are where drill teams use all their practice time and dedication to compete . This includes drill teams such as Armed Regulation, Armed Exhibition,Armed Inspection, Unarmed Regulation, Unarmed Exhibition,Unarmed Inspection and Color guard. These teams also get the chance to go to other schools and compete. Individual cadets also get the chance to compete in an individual armed or unarmed exhibition competition where they come up with their own sequence to perform. Later the cadets from all the units go head to head in an individual drill competition to find the last man standing after rigorous inspection from judges. The day wraps up in an awards ceremony for each category.

Here you get to truly show who's the best flight outdoors by competing against other flights. But the best thing is when you get the delicious taste from Colonels handmade burgers after such a long day of wins and losses. This is an opportunity for flights to bond and become closer together as one.

CIA Trip
The CIA field trips are meant to extend cadets learning on aviation and leadership. We get the chance to bring 50 cadets and visit museums and learn many more things. Its always fun getting to see and sometimes go inside these air crafts. The unit hold around 3 trips every school year taking 50 different cadets every time so everyone can get this one of a kind experience.

Empty Stocking
The Empty Stocking fundraiser is always fun for cadets getting the chance to give to others. Cadets get the chance to help collect money for kids who unfortunately don't get the Christmas they dream of. Getting the chance to give a hand is always great form of community service. The fourth years with selected third and second years are trusted with this responsibility. They are proud to give one weekend to help give others the Christmas they deserve.

Veterans Day
On Veterans Day the school annually holds a school-wide assembly where we all get to sit with our flight as a whole unit. Our expectations here are for all cadets to sit quietly and give respect this very special day. This day is to honor our military veterans that are more than warmly welcomed into our school and our program. The unit presents a U.S flag to a military veteran presented by a select three person color guard. Then the saber team also honors any veteran parents who are and invited, staff veterans or on active duty, and our three instructors. To end the day roses are handed out to all veteran present.

Santa's Village
At Santa's Village cadets get to go in action and get to help others. These lucky cadets are chosen by how much money they raised from their empty stockings cans. Cadets get to help operate this event, getting to see the happy face of a kid getting their Christmas gift is always heartwarming.This is a very special opportunity the cadets earned and they love every year.

End of Year Trip
The end of year trip is where cadets get the chance to visit a military base in Florida over the course of 3 days. We get the chance to learn more about what goes behind the scenes. Getting the opportunity to see people in the military do their job and learn about them is always inspiring and a great learning experience. Not only do cadets visit the base but they get the chance to have some fun in arcades and attractions around Florida.

The Dining-in is held every other year in this event cadets get to properly dress in their service uniforms and come to the school in the evening. Here cadets are expected to have manners and be respectful. In this event we always have ways to make it fun and enjoyable for everyone.

The military ball is where we all get to finally get all dressed up, get to be welcomed with our saber team, enjoy a good meal, and get to dance all you want.The event holds place annually at the Double Tree Hotel. The night begins with an induction of new Kitty Hawk members and presentation of seniors. After a good meal the a royal court is crowned.The first years get to vote for their dutch and duke, Second years get to vote for their princess and prince, Third years and Fourth years get to vote for their queen and king. The night is ended with lots of dancing and a good time.
